Responding to “Safety Month” and aiming to raise the sense of responsibility for officers and employees of the CNV Group regarding fire protection, especially in the office- an area with many flammable items: electrical outlets, documents… ; CNV Group would like to guide readers about CO2 Fire Extinguishers Procedures. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

The process of using a CO2 Fire Extinguisher includes 3 steps: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Step 1: You carry a CO2 Fire Extinguisher to the fire<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

When you detect an incident, stay calm and quickly bring a CO2 fire extinguisher to the fire ( Picture 1 below).<\/p>\n\n

Step 2: Pull out the pin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

When carrying the extinguisher to the fire, keep yourself calm and pull out the latch (Picture 2 below) then proceed to step 3.<\/p>\n\n

Step 3: Pull the trigger<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

After pull out the pin, use your dominant hand to pull the trigger as shown in the picture and use your other hand to hold the nozzle and point straight at the fire (Picture 3 below).<\/p>\n\n

Note<\/strong>: When using a CO2 Fire Extinguisher, do not let your hands touch the tank. Hold the nozzle carefully to avoid spraying CO2 gas on your body, which will cause cold burn.<\/p>\n\n

To improve fire protection, every citizen must know how to use fire protection equipment to protect themselves. Because the safety of human life and life is related to the material wealth of an advanced society, you need to equip yourself with knowledge so that when encountering problems, you do not have to panic or worry.<\/p>\n\n
