At the meeting, Thai Binh city reported the planning plan for the city center area in Le Hong Phong ward and Bo Xuyen ward; progress of implementing the contents of Tra Ly Riverfront Urban Area in Le Hong Phong ward and Bo Xuyen ward; planning plan to expand Dinh Tien Hoang street and extended Ngo Quyen street.
The Department of Construction reports on the progress of implementing the residential housing development project in Dong Hoa commune and the new urban housing development project in Tan Binh commune and Tien Phong ward. The Department of Planning and Investment reports on the progress of implementing the LNG Thermal Power Plant Project.
The Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province reports on the progress of implementing the planning to build the high-end commercial service urban area on Con Vanh – Con Thu, Con Vanh golf course, construction investment project and infrastructure business of VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park.
The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board of civil and industrial works reports on the progress of implementing the Provincial General Hospital Project in the Medical Center Area and the Thai Binh Provincial Museum Construction Investment Project.
Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee emphasized that the progress of implementing some projects is still slow compared to plan, and frankly pointed out some shortcomings, Limitations in implementing projects. The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested the heads of relevant departments, branches and units to gain profound experience in implementing the work; uphold the sense of responsibility, closely follow the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People’s Committee, be flexible, creative, and proactively coordinate with each other to speed up work, duplicate tasks to ensure efficiency and on schedule.
In addition, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee also noted a number of tasks that Departments, branches and localities need to perform such as: Need to be more proactive in solving tasks, closely following work progress and specific goals to complete. Promoting the responsibility of the leader in leadership and direction as well as attaching responsibilities to each department and each professional staff in project implementation. Actively follow and grasp ministries and central branches to promptly resolve problems and difficulties.
In addition, it is necessary to strengthen coordination between departments, branches and localities to remove difficulties and obstacles as soon as possible to speed up the progress of project implementation. Do a good job of propaganda and advocacy to create consensus among people in the project implementation area. The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee also assigned specific tasks of each project and requested relevant departments, branches and localities to speed up the implementation progress of projects to complete as planned.
